My Bio:
My name is Kacee Roberts. I'm the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher here at Lamesa, and I'm so excited to get the new school year going! I am a graduated of Texas Tech University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. In high school I was very involved with my FCS courses, many of the different extracurricular activities, as well as a regional and state officer in Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America so you could say I am very passionate about what I do and keeping the students involved! I also continued to be involved in an FCS professional organization American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS), where I was Vice-President of our Texas Tech Student Chapter, and Family and Consumer Sciences Teachers Association of Texas (FCSTAT). I love this job, and I love that I am here at Lamesa High School!

My Educational Philosophy:
Every student can learn. These students that we are teaching today will have a major effect on how our world could and will change tomorrow. If we do not supply our students with the right tools to learn and succeed in our classrooms then our students will not be ready to their full potential outside of our classrooms. I want to prepare our students for the world outside of school.

A Personal Message:
I hope you all have had a great summer and I cannot wait to meet all of you, students and parents alike! If you need anything from me or have a question on something you can email me at, or you can call up at school! This is going to be such a great year and our FCCLA chapter is only going to continue to grow!

My conference period is 3rd Period 10:12 - 11:02
